    This is definitely a local gem in Alhambra! It's a quaint restaurant nestled on Atlantic and 6th. There's limited parking slots in the back. My favorites are the agedashi tofu, chicken curry cutlet and the chicken karaage! I eat here at least twice a month for my staples above. Generous serving and the quality of food hasn't changed in the years I've been frequenting this place. Definitely bookmark this restaurant if you're craving simple Japanese food that satisfies the palate and stomach. Agedashi tofu is a must try; it's lightly battered with the perfect amount of crunch complemented with the savory dashi sauce.

    The ramen here brings me back to Japan! I ordered the spicy miso ramen and kuro ramen and some other appetizers. Everything is authentic Japanese food.

    One of the top Japanese bistro in town, was referred by a few friends that lived in the area and I was not disappointed, ordered their special house udon, the base miso soup was on the spot along with their popcorn chicken and added some side of seaweed and egg is a must! The sides are priced fairly and their service was quick and friendly. The menu prices are great for the food.
